Chasing happiness

I used to make and sell tea-dyed dolls. Hours of fun...

Most of us have a tendency to chase happiness,
liking the good feeling we get from it.
But happiness is one of those things...
that only offers fleeting moments of pleasure.
Like the little bubbles children blow from a wand,
it dissolves before you can blink an eye.

There's nothing wrong with being happy...
as long as we aren't desperate for it.
No matter how much fun we may be having,
we will only crave more when it's over.
Being addicted to pleasure is a sure formula for pain.
