We can’t shield ourselves from the human experience,

but we can move more fluidly through life by 

practicing acceptance rather than struggle and resistance.

It’s helpful to remember that pain is the catalyst for softening our edges, 

expanding our hearts, and gaining wisdom…

I will never forget the day I first began to surrender my will. 

It took a mountain of pain to bring me to my knees.

 I was afraid, stubborn, and stuck. Pain was to be my teacher! 

I am grateful! It was suffering that opened me up to a life 

I would have otherwise, never knew existed...

Becoming whole again

To heal the past, we must tell our story… 

the story that breaks open us so completely 

that it brings us to our knees. 

When we release our sorrow, 

grace will renew us again.
