Goodbye to victim thinking

 I used to be a negative thinker though I didn't know it until I came into recovery. Over time, my thinking became more positive as I trained my mind to look for gifts in all situations. I still have my challenging days but now I can see them as opportunities rather than through the lens of a victim..

Finding the riches

 

The last three years have felt like a double whammy. First I experience chronic pain in both my knees (which I still have) and no doctor can find the source of it (still). Then the pandemic hits. Hmmm... What gifts can I pull from these experiences? I would say it has been three years of ego smashing. All the false parts of myself continue to fall away. Compassion and empathy deepen. Faith grows stronger. And truth sustains me. The truth that this will all pass except for the gifts I will be taking forward...

Let's set the intention of love today. What does that mean? It means keeping an open heart, not taking things personally, and not choosing special relationships but to offer love to EVERONE...
