Getting more creative with photography...

I spent a good portion of my life 

 trying to color inside the lines by:

playing by rules that didn't feel right,

trying being someone I wasn't,

thinking I needed to be perfect,

and being nice, no matter what I felt.

In other words, I lost sight of myself. 

Today I have a different rule book. 

It says that I need to be myself,

that I should trust my intuition,

be accepting of my flaws and mistakes,

and that sometimes anger is appropriate

for a situation rather than niceness...

I've always loved cookbooks, especially the ones with beautiful photographs. Since my partner and I love exploring food, I thought it would be fun to take pictures of our food experiences... so I guess you will be seeing yummy things the next couple of days...
