Intuitive insight - the ability to hear God
After years of floundering in self-will and following the direction of a mind filled with mental debris, I hit a bottom so hard it woke up my conscience. Before then, I had skillfully used justification as an excuse for my actions.
I'm grateful for the pain that humbled me that day, and for all the times since then when I've needed to find more self-honesty. Spiritual awakenings are the blessings that gift us with mental clarity and insightfulness. My prayer for many years has been "God, help me to see that which you would have me change.
