Don’t take pride on your journey 

or you will soon lose your way.

Shedding light

A crack that begins in childhood

grows wider as the years pass

until it becomes a deep hole.

 If our pain goes unacknowledged,

we can't get escape from the hole

and are forced to live in darkness.

The only way we can cope with 

darkness is to live unconsciously...

because it doesn't change.
Fear alters things to suit itself...

When you're aligned with

 the plan the Universe has for you, 

your life will quickly transform 
into something really amazing.

A new day

Our minds are filled with a collection of data.
Most of the data is called "past experiences".
If we let our minds be the road map for our lives,
our thoughts, reactions, and decisions will be based  
on the experiences of our past.

We will unknowingly re-live our childhood 
over and over...

To break free of the past, 
we have to live deeper than our mind.

To live in the present moment,
we can not choose yesterday's ideas.

Each day must be fresh and new,
aligning ourselves with wisdom and truth.

in it’s true LIGHT.

into something magnificent,

we too, must leave our shell

 when we have outgrown it.

Changing old behaviors

As a child,

I began shouldering 

the pain of others

as a way to avoid 

my own feelings.

It took many years

 and a lot of pain

to learn this truth.

But with truth in hand,

 I began walking 

a new path;

a path that has led me  

to freedom.

Today, because my wings

aren’t so heavy, 

it has become easier

 for me to fly.
