Our life lessons

In the midst of the deepest, darkest night,

when we feel most humbled by life,

the faint shadow of our wings

begins to appear.

Ruling your kingdom

A queen is a woman...

who grows more beautiful with age...

who rules her kingdom with her heart...

who refuses to compromise her values...

who creates a life of passion and adventure...

who finds the good in everything..

who knows herself deeply...

who claims her right to be loved.

Being humble

Teaching myself how to make appliques for tee shirts...

I have been driven many times upon my knees
by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go.
My own wisdom and that of all about me
seemed insufficient for that day.”

Owning our magnificance

We've been taught to believe we are less than what we truly are.
Every one of us who was born to shine brightly.
So that we may love and accept ourselves completely,
we eliminate all the ways we diminish who we are,
letting go of self-defeating behaviors like guilt and judgment.
It is only the arrogance of the wounded self that attempts to keep us small.

Affirmation "I am a brilliant light"

Taking responsibility

All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another,
and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you.
The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you when you
are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration.
You may succeed in making another feel guilty about something by blaming him,
but you won't succeed in changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy.

Being humble

Picture yourself as woman

who stays beautifully balanced

with humility.
